Your role

We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer in the area of System Engineering at Saab Dynamics in Linköping. In the area of System Engineering in Mechanics, you will work with one or more systems, such as hull, fuel systems, engines, or similar. You will design the system and its functions, specify the requirements for the various system components, and ensure that they meet the requirements. You will see the overall picture of the system and its functions and be responsible for the entire chain from requirements, design, integration, verification, and maintenance.

Your profile

Master's degree in mechanical engineering or have an education/experience that is deemed equivalent.

We believe that you are currently working as a mechanical designer, test engineer, or something similar and feel that it is time to take the next step in your career.

We manage both large projects that require teamwork and smaller projects that require independence - and you, together with your team, are an important piece of the puzzle in our journey to create the next generation of defense systems.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
